(Almost 2 mos. After surgery) my experience with Dr. Caster, his staff and the Lasik surgery was great. I was very comfortable during the procedure and confident that it would work and I’m not disappointed. It’s wonderful not to have to deal with contacts and reading glasses. I now wear neither. It has simplified my life immensely and I would recommend everyone remotely interested at least get a consultation. Life literally looks much brighter now! Thank you all.

The procedure was fast and painless, and I’m now seeing better than I have in the last 15 years (even with glasses). My best-corrected vision was 20/25 before the surgery and now I’m seeing 20/15 in my right eye. I would recommend the procedure to anyone.
When my dog put his paws on my bed this morning to wake me up, I looked over to see his beautiful brown eyes. Though this seemed like an average morning for him, it was a brilliant day for me. The gift of sight is one of the most important aspects of life, and I’m so thankful to be able to live my life to the fullest. From start (website) to finish (perfect vision!) getting Lasik at the Caster Eye Center was one of the best/smoothest experiences of my life. The staff is incredibly personable and well informed, and I always felt like I was the most important person in the building. Likewise, Dr. Caster’s calm presence and incredible skills are incomparable. I don’t know how else to praise Dr. Caster and his staff except to say this: Thank you for being the best!
Yesterday, I couldn’t see anything without my glasses, today I see 20/15 without!!! I was extremely nervous going into the surgery, but the staff here made me feel at ease, and it was over with before I knew it. Words cannot express how it is to be free from glasses and contact lenses. Everything is so clear and I’m thankful to Dr. Caster and everyone here for giving me my sight back after wearing glasses for 20 years. It was the best thing I could have ever done for myself, and I’m glad that I had the best doctor for it. If you are sitting in the office looking at this in a binder contemplating Lasik, do it. I can’t suggest it more, there’s nothing else like it. I CAN SEE!
Everything about this procedure (Lasik) was handled as professionally and pleasantly as I could have imagined. The staff and Dr. Caster were all an absolute pleasure and I would recommend the Caster Eye Center to anyone considering Lasik. My post-op experience was also as smooth as I could have hoped. I am excited to not have to deal with corrective lenses, solutions and hassles from this point on- the freedom and quality of being in clear focus with the world around me w/o worrying about corrective material is a thrill. I was so nervous on the day of the procedure. The staff was great with me and kept me calm and glued together. The procedure was so fast that it was over almost before I had a chance to be scared. I went home, took a nap and basically slept the rest of the evening. The most amazing part was waking up the next morning and being able to see everything! I can’t believe I waited so long to do this. I would tell everyone I know to do this- it’s liberating.
Dr. Caster and his staff are definitely the best. The surgery is completely painless. My sight is now 20/20 after the second day. I could see better as soon as he finished the procedure. I only regret not having it done before. Thank you Dr. Caster.

As with any invasive vision procedure, I was a bit apprehensive about having Lasik surgery. However, 2 days post-op, I’m extremely pleased with the results, with my apprehensions being alleviated. Statistically, Lasik has a very low rate of complications, but they cease to become low when they happen to you. After taking extensive measurements and thorough eye examinations, Dr. Caster was aware of my concerns. He reviewed my case, and assured me that he wouldn’t even recommend my having the procedure if he didn’t think I was an ideal candidate able to undergo the procedure free of complications. Dr. Caster, Dr. Hoff, and the rest of the staff have proven to be extremely competent. Having undergone the procedure themselves, they were all so understanding to the needs of their patients. The procedure itself was quick, recovery time minimal, and results exemplary. I feel as if I’m seeing with contacts, only they’re not there. All factors taken into account, I’m pleased I made the choice to trust Dr. Caster and his associates, and I would recommend anyone considering the Lasik procedure to consider the Caster Eye Center without reservation.
Remarkable what modern technology can accomplish. One day post-op and I’m seeing 20/25. Initially, I was terrified to have the surgery (even after numerous friends had explained that there was no pain involved), but in retrospect, it was a breeze. A quick fix that produces amazing results. Thank God I can ditch the glasses and contacts. Thanks to all involved.

I have worn glasses and contact lenses since I was ten years old. Having t depend on something to see put an extreme hindrance on my daily life. I could not even wake-up in the morning to see what time it was without putting my glasses on. Having the Lasik procedure has put my life in a new perspective. I can’t believe that I can see so well. The procedure was painless, uncomfortable when the flap is made, but that’s it. My eyes were watering last night and sensitive to light. I took a nap from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and the tearing and light sensitivity was gone. My vision is not perfect, but almost perfect and I expect it will be perfect after a recovery period. Thank you to all the doctors and scientists who made this procedure possible and available.
