I started wearing glasses when I was 8 years old. My vision was really BAD! I couldn’t see anything without my glasses. I had laser eye surgery in June if 1998, I was 19 years old. The surgery was easy and painless! It was over so quickly, I didn’t even have time to be nervous! Now, my vision is perfect. I will never forget the first time I bought a pair of sunglasses! Everyone in my family has had the surgery with Dr. Caster, and we are all thrilled with the results! Thank you so much!
The next day I was totally amazed. I started wearing corrective lenses over 30 years ago and to see without glasses or contacts when I woke up was an experience I won’t forget. Dr. Caster and his staff were very helpful in calming my initial concerns about having surgery on my eyes. I did a lot of research on the subject before I did it and Dr. Caster kept coming up as one of the best in the country and world. Also my own personal physician (who I trust immensely) referred him. I would recommend the procedure highly to anyone considering Dr. Caster. I believe the choice of the doctor is the most important variable in the decision.
I have worn glasses since I was six years old. I was very frightened coming to have my eye exam but the people here are so caring they made the decision to have surgery a very easy one. The day of the surgery I was taken care of so well that I wasn’t afraid at all! The next day my vision was 20/20! I was able to wear sunglasses for the first time in my life and it was great! I can’t thank all of you enough! After visiting many different doctors I knew this was the only place to come. I will recommend Dr. Caster to all of my friends. Thank you for changing my life!
This procedure has been absolutely perfect. Everything I was told would happen did happen. The outcome is better than I would have expected! I’m not disappointed whatsoever. I underwent the Lasik procedure two weeks ago. My experience was zero pain. Approximately four hours after the procedure I felt a slight burning sensation, but nothing like the pain when a contact lens is dislodged or a piece of grit enters the eye. The sensation lasted approximately half an hour, but caused no tearing. I just relaxed and it went away.
Approximately five hours after the procedure there was no sensation at all except I do remember opening my eyes and being able to see across the room. It was amazing! The next morning I experienced the greatest joy by being able to see the clock, read the labels of containers on my bathroom counter, and make out faces across the room. I achieved 20/25 in one eye and 20/40 in the other. I highly recommend the procedure and there is no finer doctor than Dr. Caster, and that also includes his very professional staff.
The procedure was simple. I’m very pleased with how the procedure was explained so thoroughly by the nurses and the video, and even the doctor. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. The actual procedure took a few minutes for each eye ( It may even be shorter because when you are having a surgery a minute seems a lot longer than it actually is). I think the only pain or discomfort I felt was the instrument that kept my eyes open so that I won’t blink, and in the beginning I felt absolutely nothing. The laser felt like nothing at all and I’m up this morning seeing everything I was never able to see before. Overall it was a very easy, and convenient procedure.
This was the most comfortable thing that I’ve ever gone through. I’m extremely happy with the results and annoying those around me by repeating- “I can read the clock”. Everyone here is very professional and nice. It definitely completes the atmosphere. My big test will be my next job when I don’t have to change my glasses constantly when I’m running in and out of various stores. I’m looking forward to it! Thank you everyone!
I am completely thrilled that I can now see and drive without using glasses or contacts. I was referred to Dr. Caster by a co-worker, and I am so glad I took her advice. I have very dry eyes and also needed contact lenses put in my eyes during the procedure. This caused for pretty blurry vision during the next couple days after surgery until the lenses were removed. I’m happy to say the very next day after the lenses were out, I was able to drive myself to work-happily. The Caster Eye Center staff (ALL of them) are completely wonderful. If it wasn’t for their attentive, friendly service, it would have been much harder to go through. Thank You VERY much!

Lasik worked. It worked better than any other medical procedure has ever worked in my life. I can see perfectly. Every now and then, I remember that I had the procedure done, and I shake my head in wonder. Most of the time, though, it’s forgotten. It’s like I never needed glasses. And that’s a great feeling. Now that I’m done complementing the true hero of this whole thing – the laser – let me say a few words about this alleged “Dr. Caster” and his office. This is the best medical office in America. No, I haven’t been to them all, but I’m extrapolating. The place is run like a Swiss watch factory, everyone is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, the staff seems prepared at all times, there were no infuriating delays, mistakes, incompetence, etc.
The procedure is exactly as advertised. Painless. I’d prefer another Lasik by Dr. Caster to ripping a Band-Aid off. I’d prefer it to getting a throat culture. I’d prefer it to stubbing my toe, running out of Diet Coke or shaving. And I mean it. It’s an A+. I have zero complaints. Nothing but praise. This may seem redundant in light of all the other testimonials you’ve received, but I assure you–I am one of the crankiest and hypercritical patients to ever walk through the door. Damn, Caster and co. You’re great at what you do. I would thank you, but I’ve decided to pay you instead. You deserve it.

The whole Lasik experience here was great, from the consultation 2 months ago, to the afternoon spent here for the pre-op eval & the procedure. It was great to have so many clearly qualified people evaluate me & explain things to me. I really felt that I could just keep asking questions & have them cheerfully answered until I felt satisfied & secured. Most importantly, I felt very safe in the hands of Dr. Caster during the procedure I had been very well prepared for what I would experience by Diane, Dr. Hoff, & the technicians. The results were dramatic -yesterday I had -6.5 in my lift eye & -6.25 in my right, & today I see 20/20. I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t have my contacts in. Everyone I know will be learning about Lasik at the Caster Eye Center. Thank you to everyone.

I can’t say enough about how great of an experience this was. I am so happy. Everyone working for Dr. Caster is wonderful. Everyone made me feel so comfortable and in the financial industry, I must say I wish we had the best of quality customer service that Dr. Caster’s office has.
