Everyone here at the Caster Eye Center was great! Professional at all times, yet very friendly. Prior to my surgery I’d heard all types of things about pressure and I little discomfort and yada, yada, yada, but I experienced none of that. Those are some damn good numbing drops they use! I just want to thank Dr. Caster, Dr. Hoff, Dr. Slivar, Patricia and the rest of the staff for their contribution to the restoral of my 20/20 which I haven’t had since I was 9 and for their extreme kindness. Thanks you guys and gals!
As someone with a very active lifestyle, glasses have never been a practical solution for correcting my vision. Although contact lenses were a much better option, they were always a hassle: needing to bring a case and cleaning solution if I spent the night away from home, and in the last couple of months before I had Lasik surgery, they just became too bothersome. Now, with my “new eyes” I feel like a different person. It’s as if a weight has been lifted. No more worrying about being “prepared” if I go out of town or decide to spend the night out. I still can’t believe it, One day after the surgery I can legally drive without corrective lenses. I’m so excited and happy my face hurts from smiling!!
I have been myopic and worn glasses since I was 6 years old-and today, 24 hours later, I was given clearance to drive a car without corrective lenses! The five minute procedure was without surprises and totally painless. I was offered pain medication after the procedure and elected not to take it-I never even took Tylenol. I can honestly say that any day of my 30+ years of hard contact lens wearing was MUCH more irritating to my eyes than the Lasik procedure. I appreciate and gratefully acknowledge every staff member for the part they played in my journey to healed vision. The front desk staff, always cheerful and efficient. The coordinator, friendly, encouraging and informative; the physicians and technicians that gave thorough, refractory exams; Stuart, with just the right amount of lightheartedness minutes prior to the procedure; the surgical assistants who assured me I wasn’t too old for the Pooh Bear-and especially Dr. Caster! Thank you Dr. Caster for your gifted surgical expertise and your calm and gentle spirit. I feel so blessed to live in a time when this amazing technology is available.

It’s like a miracle. One day I couldn’t function without my glasses and 15 minutes after the procedure I was able to read street signs and watch TV glasses free. The next day it was as if nothing had been done to my eyes. They felt as normal as they ever have. I am very pleased with the Caster Eye Center and highly recommend this procedure to anyone who hates wearing glasses.
The procedure was comfortable and pain free. In fact I watched the World Series 2 hours after the procedure. The staff is excellent and I will not hesitate to refer Dr. Caster.
I knew 2 years that I wanted to get my eyes “fixed”. I set up a liquid CD account and when I was ready I went through the Internet and found 5 places. I read the info and interviewed 3 doctors and settled on Dr. Caster because I felt “Como en Casa” (Like at home) with everybody on the staff. The day of the procedure I was a nervous wreck. But once the operation began I was totally relaxed and I felt the confidence around me. All day today I have been telling my co-workers and vendors, anybody that would listen to me about my new “Eyes”. My only regret is that I couldn’t do this years ago. Thanks to everyone.
It is unreal that I had surgery on my eyes yesterday and today I am driving a car. I have hardly any discomfort and I was able to wake up and see the flowers outside of my bedroom without fumbling for my glasses or putting my contacts in.
I’ve found this to be one of the most friendly and painless procedures thus far in my 24 years of life. I highly recommend this to anyone with eye problems. Sightfully yours.

Holy Cow! What can I say? This procedure is awesome. This is a new lease on life P.L. (post Lasik). I am so excited. I am going to skip work today and go see a movie…. But not just any movie…. One of those French ones with subtitles and I’m going to sit in the last row, just because I am now able to read all the subtitles.

From the moment I walked into the Caster Eye Center, everyone was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and I felt completely confident in the care I would ultimately receive. I’ve worn glasses and or contacts since I was 10 years old, to now have freedom from all of those drops and solutions and no more “fishing” for my glasses. 25 years later…. What a blessing from God and of course with the hands of Dr. Caster and his staff.

I was very relaxed prior to the procedure, and found it to be as easy getting your teeth cleaned. The staff did a great job discussing what to expect before, during and after the procedure so there were no surprises.
The results are truly amazing. Due to my astigmatism, I could only see every small part of the world very clearly. Now I feel like I’m looking through a wide-angle lens. It has only been one day but I feel like I can already see better than I could with my glasses. Now it is time for the real test – to see how much my tennis game has improved.

There are not enough superlatives to explain how wonderful it is to see when I wake up in the morning, to forget about fumbling for my glasses, to forget about contact drops, and to exercise without glasses fogging up or the contacts slipping.

I had the Lasik procedure on both eyes yesterday. In less than 24 hours I’ve gone from 20/600 and 20/700 to 20/20. Pretty amazing – particularly with no pain or discomfort. The world is a little blurry today still but I was able to drive here without glasses and can do anything! The staff at Caster Eye Canter has been wonderful. They are very professional (I think they triple check everything) and help provide a high level of comfort with the procedure that I would not expect from a “discount” facility. They really seem to be the best!
