It’s truly incredible that within a few minutes I could go from blurred vision to great vision. I just can’t get over how amazing it is. I didn’t quite believe people when they told me it would be painless. But they were so right. I never even had any discomfort. But I wish someone had told me not to even look at the disclosure papers. I was such a complete wreck when I read them that I actually took an hour to sign my name. I finally signed them after calling a friend who also had the procedure. Thank you Dr. Caster for giving me perfect vision! I feel so lucky that you are my doctor. And thank you Dr. Hoff for your patience when I was such a nervous wreck for the pre-op appointment. And thank you to every staff member for being nice explaining everything so perfectly.

I can finally see as well as my clients do, without the embarrassment of struggling with my glasses and contacts. One day post-op I am experiencing the nuances of color and texture for the first time! I feel I need to go back and re-design all of the work I did without the benefit of perfect natural vision. I always wanted to have this done but kept putting it off. Now I’m glad I finally had it done- no more problems with contacts and having to carry all the supplies on vacations. From the time I had it done I have not had any problems (2nd day) and I’m looking forward to enjoying life without contacts or sometimes glasses. I should have had it done sooner.

I’ve been waiting years for technology to advance to this point. This is my second day without corrective lenses and I already feel more free and unencumbered by glasses and lenses. This has been one of the most wonderful things to happen to me. Wow! This is amazing and unbelievable at the same time. I had the surgery yesterday at 4pm and am seeing 20/20 today at 9:30am. I can’t recommend it enough. To wake up and see clearly for the first time in 30+ years is a true gift! The staff at the Caster Eye Center was terrific and there is no exact that the center qualifies as “LA’s Best”! This is the morning after my surgery. It is fantastic. In one sense, my vision experience is not so remarkable; I see just as I could with glasses or contacts. The difference is: I’m not wearing contacts to be able to see. No pain, no discomfort. Dr. Caster is as good as advertised.
Anything I could say about this procedure and the care of Dr. Caster and his staff would be trite and would not properly do justice to what I have (and will continue to) experienced. I have had to wear glasses since age 9, and was unable to wear contact lenses for any extended period of time due to the over-sensitivity of my eyes. Now, thanks to Dr. Caster I no longer have to worry about any of that. No more switching from glasses to contacts just to play basketball, only to have to switch back in a couple of hours due to irritation. No more waking up in the morning and having to find my glasses just to see the alarm clock. No more wiping off my glasses every few minutes when it’s raining out. Simply put no more worrying about how I’m going to see.
