Not only does Dr. Caster help transform lives every day with the amazing results of Custom Wavefront Lasik, he has also forever changed the lives of two of his loyal staff. The story begins with Alicia Sanchez, who has worked with Dr. Caster for over 20 years, and Roman Ruiz, who has worked with Dr. Caster for over 16 years.
They had always shared the upmost respect for each other and worked well together, but it wasn’t until Dr. Caster sent them together to attend a seminar in New Mexico that their lives changed forever. With the romantic backdrop of the New Mexico desert, they fell in love. (Our guess is that they were in love all along, for many years!) Alicia and Roman were apprehensive initially about revealing their relationship, but finally decided to share their love story at our annual Christmas party. Dr. Caster could not have been more excited for them – “Two of the nicest people I have ever met. They belong together,” he said. They recently purchased their first home together and are planning on getting married in the near future….”and they lived happily ever after.”
