I have been researching the Lasik Procedure for the past Two years. I feel that my extent of research has been extensive. Dr. Caster was always the doctor that everyone recommended. His credentials are impressive and the number of operations that he has performed aided me in my choice. Another reason I chose Dr. Caster was the staff. They were always professional and they did not make me feel pressured into choosing Dr. Caster as some of the other laser eye surgeon’s offices had.
I flew all the way from Melbourne, Australia to have my vision corrected from Dr. Caster. After years of wearing contact lenses this procedure is truly a miracle and was well worth the 17-hour flight! The staff here is exceptional and everyone here made the experience wonderful. I would highly recommend anyone who is considering their vision to be corrected to do it!
This morning I woke up and saw the most beautiful day of my life! This is the most miraculous change I have ever experienced! While waiting for my surgery I was so extremely nervous and wanted to cry. The staff, along with Rob my fiancé, was sooo supportive, personal and caring! For the stereo type Los Angeles has with people, places, and procedures… Caster Eye Center has a sense of Home. A personal environment- the people seem very real, down to earth and really care! This was sooo much appreciated when I having this incredible life experience! Thank you staff and Dr. Caster!
I work in the technology biz, so I feel pretty jaded about most so-called “technological breakthroughs”. But I am in genuine awe of what Dr. Caster and his staff can do. Yesterday I was wearing glasses- today I woke up with 20/20 vision in both eyes. I feel great; my eyes feel great. My kids had lots of fun testing what I could see this morning.
I’d also like to say that I have never met a friendlier, more personable, or better-trained group of folks than the staff here. Stuart, Krista, Dr. Slivar, and everyone I met (including Dr Caster himself) couldn’t have been any nicer and showed great expertise in their care of me. Words cannot explain how wonderful this procedure is. I have worn glasses and contact lenses for 44 years. Immediately after the Lasik procedure I could read the numbers on the wall clock. It was amazing. I will tell everyone I know about Dr. Caster and his wonderful, helpful staff. I have a new lease on life. Thank you so much.
What can I say except “WOW”! It’s unbelievable that in a matter of minutes your vision is restored. I was a -7.00 with glasses and now I can see! The process is painless but the results are truly a miracle. My thanks to Dr. Caster and his staff for their sincere care.
After having an overcorrected RK surgery Dr. Caster was able to correct my vision, which 2 other doctors couldn’t do. Thanks for a great job. Well done.
Thank you Dr. Caster for what I consider to be a miracle. I’ve been wearing glasses for more than 20 years. Eyeglasses never fit me well because my head is too wide. Even those super thin glasses were always too heavy and I would go through life with a constant headache. Now I’m free of my glasses and contact lenses too. The pressure that glasses put on my head is now gone! Thanks again for freeing me from the constraints imposed by glasses and contact lenses.
Less than 24 hours after surgery I can see perfectly! I can honestly say the most painful part of the procedure is pulling the tape off the nighttime goggles. After over 25 years of glasses and/or contacts it’s going to be wonderful to see the clock every morning, swim under water, etc. Thank you to everyone at Caster Eye Center- The entire staff was friendly and informative.
For me, having the Lasik surgery was one of the events in life that has a true sense of awe and wonderment. Dr. Caster and his staff are terrific.

I am truly amazed at how easy and pain-free the entire procedure was yesterday. Today everything is so clear and I can see 20/20 according to Dr. Caster. I am very happy and I would recommend him to anybody! I felt that I was in good hands, especially since my own optometrist went to Dr. Caster to do this, and by the way is happy too. I’m thankful for Dr. Levins recommending Dr. Caster to me and for Dr. Caster’s expertise! This is a miracle that I have been praying to God to answer and he has! It is beyond my expectations! The staff is great too! (Very professional!) The world is so beautiful; I can see textures I couldn’t discern even with contacts! Praise God!! Thank you Caster Eye Center!! God bless all of you!
The day of my surgery, I was anxiously apprehensive. I watched the surgery before mine. The patient was so calm and didn’t move. I was worried I would move and they would have to keep me held down! One of the assistants just told me to keep relaxed and BREATHE! So I tried to have an out of body experience when I went to lie down and await my new vision. After surgery I could immediately see a difference. I went home and slept for six hours! I did wake up in intervals and put my natural tears in my eyes, as they did feel scratchy. That night I watched television and could see details and everything. I was amazed at how well I could see already. I was driving my husband crazy saying; “I can see that, can’t you?” and “I can read that smallest print, can you?” He had enough of me! This morning I woke up with crystal clear vision. There wasn’t any scratchy of dry feeling to the eye anymore. I drove myself to my post-op appointment and have tested at 20/20 vision in both eyes. I can’t wait to go to Hawaii in November without having to drag all my solutions, lenses and eyeglasses! Mihalo!
When I came in for my pre-checkup (1 day before surgery), I was very worried and scared. I had lots of questions and talked to a few of Dr. Caster’s patients who had already had the surgery. My biggest concern was that Monday was my surgery and Friday I was leaving on a 2-week vacation to Israel. Although I was a little hesitant, I still went ahead with surgery and I’m so happy that I did. The procedure was painless, only some discomfort. Today, Tuesday I see perfectly fine, a part of me still thinks I’m wearing my contacts. It’s too good to be true. It’s so amazing how a procedure that took less than 10 minutes can change your life forever.

This is an amazing process. Having worn glasses (and contacts) for nearsightedness with a prescription of -10, I can now drive without visual aids. Totally painless too. Thank you Dr. Caster!
