How can I thank you for what you have given back to me? The results were better than I expected, 20/20 day after surgery. The best part was that this morning, when my son came into our bedroom, I could see his beautiful face as he stood at the doorway -WOW-the only word for it is “miracle”.
The entire staff is wonderful and willing to spend the time to answer all my questions – they were also willing to answer my husband’s questions & even laughed at his jokes!

As a researcher in the field of nano-electronics I know the importance of using the best equipment. My procedure was only possible using your laser because of my large pupils. After wearing glasses for 30 years, my vision is now better than it has ever been- 20/15! I see everything so clearly, I am truly amazed. Here it is my 39th birthday, and I received the best gift – ever. The gift of perfect vision! I felt compelled to write this letter because of my experience… Okay, maybe I want this letter to be displayed on his office walls too! The staff really went out of their way to make me feel like family and not just another patient. My brother (who had a minor complication) was treated on a Sunday and he’s healing perfectly. This kind of true commitment really impressed me.
The staff was very thorough and west over every step to assure me that the process was safe. Once on the table, I felt totally secure- knowing that Dr. Caster and his staff are the elite in this fairly new branch of medicine. I admit the concept of slicing my cornea wasn’t pleasant. Once the “flap” was open, it looked as if I was looking through a Kaleidoscope and within a few minutes, it was replaced and I was done.
The Morning after the surgery, I could actually look up and see the “G.E.” logo on the recessed lights in my bedroom’s vaulted ceiling. My house stays cleaner because I see every cobweb and every spec of dirt – everywhere! I can actually spot a lone ant crawling across my floor…from 12-15 feet away. Gone are the tension headaches that my scratched glasses brought., Gone are the annoying and drawn-out contact lens routines.
While driving, I notice that my peripheral vision is so much better now. I notice everything and my reaction time seems much faster. With glases, the rims created blind spots and with contacts, they were always so bothersome, that I needed to focus

For more than forty of my forty-nine years I’ve worn glasses or contacts. Now when I wake up in the morning I can clearly see myself in the vanity mirror across the room. I keep thinking how comfortable my contacts are or I should take out my contacts before I go to sleep. It’s going to take a while to get used to this, but I’ll enjoy every minute! Everything about the procedure and those who were involved in it exceeded my expectations. All my questions were honestly and thoroughly answered. The procedure was painless and my eyesight improved unbelievably. I would recommend this procedure and all of the people at the Caster Eye Center to anyone, and plan too.
The best thing I have ever done for myself! I was quite nervous before the procedure, a feeling not helped by all the terrifying literature (disclaimers). So the simplicity and painlessness of the procedure was a surprise. It was also helped by the very kind nurses, the lovely teddy bear and the re-assuring hands of Dr. Caster. I was constantly re-assured throughout the procedure by Dr. Caster’s gentle explanations and before I knew it it was over. You sit up and you can see! It’s totally amazing. There was no post-operative pain and I have been able to monitor my vision getting better and sharper. The following morning it’s 20/20 for the first time in my life since a teenager. As with many other patients, I had been wearing glasses for a long time- more than 36 years! And contacts for 30 years. I’d been wanting to have my eyes “fixed” ever since RK came out- but I was too afraid. When I heard of Lasik, I inquired with a few doctors, but it wasn’t until I came to Dr. Caster’s office and watched the video that I felt confident. I really appreciate the professionalism and exacting procedures used here, as well as the consistent care and patience demonstrated by Dr. Caster, Dr. Hoff and all of the technicians and staff. I especially appreciated the fact that one technician worked with me for the entire 3 months- Roman did a great job of explaining everything and sharing about some of the hi-tech equipment he used. It was all very reassuring.
The procedure itself was quick- Winnie the Pooh helped calm my anxiety (nice touch) and today (the day after surgery) I am seeing 20/35. I am looking forward to a new freedom, especially since I love outdoor activities like hiking and rollerblading. I was always having problems with the dust getting in my contacts! I’d recommend Dr. Caster’s office to anyone! Thank You!
My only regret is I waited so long to do this. I’m extremely pleased with the results although it is only the day after the procedure. I see fantastic! I felt very much at ease. Everything was explained in great detail and I felt absolutely no discomfort. I’d recommend this to everyone who is nearsighted. No more contact solution, contacts getting lost in my eyes, tearing, carrying extra pairs. This is great. I want to thank the staff for the professionalism and making me feel quite at ease. Again, this is the best decision I’ve ever made, just wish I would have done it sooner.

Thanks to you I spent all night crying. I couldn’t help it. For the first time in 30 years I could see myself in the mirror without glasses when I was further than 2 inches away. I could see the leaves on the trees. I could kiss my husband without smashing him with my frames. For the first time I see the world without smudges, and that is a beautiful treat.
