SWAN

Sixteen women participated in the first season of the Fox television show, The Swan. A team of experts — two plastic surgeons, a cosmetic dentist, a therapist, a fitness coach, a life-fulfillment coach, a dermatologist, and a Lasik specialist — were asked to transform these women. The Swan asked Dr. Caster to treat all of the participants who had poor vision, and Dr. Caster performed Lasik on eleven of the women.

Cristina Tyree was one of the Swan Pageant contestants. Here is what her husband had to say to Dr. Caster after her Lasik treatment:

I want to thank you and your staff for giving my wife, Cristina, the gift of vastly improved vision. As someone who works in the optical industry and who talks to hundreds of eye doctors and their staff members, I see firsthand the impact of your work. Though Cristina was very appreciative of the cosmetic surgery she received, there is no doubt in my mind that having her vision restored is the one thing that will have the longest lasting impact on her life. I can’t thank you enough for taking care of my wife.
