I travel often and my concern was what happens if I lose or break my glasses? I would not be able to see well beyond 10 feet. My travel plans would be ruined. I was no longer a fan of contact lenses. Getting them in and out was a hassle. Stretching the area around my eyes seemed counterproductive to my skin care regiment. I was apprehensive about surgery, but after considering the success of my father’s cataract surgery, I decided to have the laser treatment. My vision was corrected immediately. I adjusted to change within a few weeks. 12 months after the surgery I traveled to South Africa. It was wonderful to wake up, open my eyes, and see perfectly without reaching for glasses. This was the best missions’ trip ever. I recommend Dr. Caster and Caster Eye Center. It has given me a new independence.
