I promised myself that the first thing I would do upon returning to my office would be to add to your ever increasing list of totally satisfied patients who memorialize their happiness in writing. I felt that the quality of service and attention which I received last week from you, and all of your gracious staff, merited this letter.
It was thanks to Dr. Michael Levin, I was recommended to you and made an immediate decision to undergo the surgery at the Caster Eye Center. I have worn glasses and contact lens, hard and soft, for over 20 years. I had -6 and -6.5, level of "blindness"! I always thought that lens were the ultimate seeing experience, especially as I enjoy outdoor sports. However, the enviroment is not always "lens - friendly", as I have discovered form the beaches of Saint Tropez to the steppes of Mongolia! Everyone who travels can bear witness to this.
Any trepidation, which I may have had about the operation, the outcome and ...what could go wrong, were quickly dispelled by the evaluation and measurement examinations both by Michael, and again by your team. The pre-op briefing was extremely helpful and thorough with all the questions answered fully. As a result, I felt very comfortable and relaxed before the brief surgery.
The surgery itself was painless and quick. The result is really a modern miracle! I recommend all nearsighted people to strongly consider consultation and the procedure at the Caster Centre.

Wearing glasses was such a bother. Contacts were too uncomfortable, so I was left with the only option - eye glasses. I started wearing glasses at about 18 years old and found that my physical activity declined. I couldn't jog without my glasses hurting my nose. I couldn't ski without the goggles squeezing my glasses against my temples. Then I started researching Lasik surgery and kept hearing about Dr. Caster - they were all success stories! I woke up this morning and read the clock! Drove myself here and now can't wait to be fully active again!

I wore gas permeable hard contact lenses for the last ten years - they were always getting make-up and dirt in them, and I was forever having to pop them out and clean them - even in mild - conversation! Finally, I gave up on them and bought five pairs of beautiful designer frame glasses, at about $500 a piece. However, my vision in them was never great, they always felt uncomfortable and I was constantly switching from clear glasses to sunglasses.
Now I'm FREE forever! Free from contacts, free from glasses and free form stumbling around in my own house when I couldn't find anything until I had glasses on. I think having Lasik can make you feel younger and free-er and less encumbered. I can't wait till smoky eye makeup comes back!
