Dear Dr. Caster, My surgery was six days ago. I am very happy with the results. I never experienced any pain or extreme discomfort. The day after the procedure I only felt the mildest feeling of discomfort. I followed the after care instructions and all went well. As far as your office staff, they were extremely professional, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was very well prepared in the actual surgery because my son had it done a month before. It's great to see! I've debated getting Lasik for several years. When I finally made up my mind, it was clear that the surgeon must have much experience and good statistical results. The people at Dr. Caster's Eye Center are very kind and, more importantly to me, very frank and clear about the surgery, and the risks. The surgery was quick and fairly painless. Aside from a slight ache (for a couple of seconds in my left eye), there was no pain at all! I popped a pain pill and slept for about 20 hours… When I awoke I had 20/15 vision, WOW! I'm going hiking today… Yee ha!
