Thank you Dr. Caster for what I consider to be a miracle. I've been wearing glasses for more than 20 years. Eyeglasses never fit me well because my head is too wide. Even those super thin glasses were always too heavy and I would go through life with a constant headache. Now I'm free of my glasses and contact lenses too. The pressure that glasses put on my head is now gone! Thanks again for freeing me from the constraints imposed by glasses and contact lenses.

Less than 24 hours after surgery I can see perfectly! I can honestly say the most painful part of the procedure is pulling the tape off the nighttime goggles. First of all, YEAH!
I am truly amazed at how easy and pain-free the entire procedure was yesterday. Today everything is so clear and I can see 20/20 according to Dr. Caster. I am very happy and I would recommend him to anybody! I felt that I was in good hands, especially since my own optometrist went to Dr. Caster to do this, and by the way is happy too. I'm thankful for Dr. Levins recommending Dr. Caster to me and for Dr. Caster's expertise! This is a miracle that I have been praying to God to answer and he has! It is beyond my expectations! The day of my surgery, I was anxiously apprehensive. I watched the surgery before mine. The patient was so calm and didn't move. I was worried I would move and they would have to keep me held down! One of the assistants just told me to keep relaxed and BREATHE! So I tried to have an out of body experience when I went to lie down and await my new vision. After surgery I could immediately see a difference. I went home and slept for six hours! I did wake up in intervals and put my natural tears in my eyes, as they did feel scratchy. That night I watched television and could see details and everything. I was amazed at how well I could see already. I was driving my husband crazy saying; "I can see that, can't you?" and "I can read that smallest print, can you?" He had enough of me! This morning I woke up with crystal clear vision. There wasn't any scratchy of dry feeling to the eye anymore. I drove myself to my post-op appointment and have tested at 20/20 vision in both eyes. I can't wait to go to Hawaii in November without having to drag all my solutions, lenses and eyeglasses! Mihalo!

When I came in for my pre-checkup (1 day before surgery), I was very worried and scared. I had lots of questions and talked to a few of Dr. Caster's patients who had already had the surgery. My biggest concern was that Monday was my surgery and Friday I was leaving on a 2-week vacation to Israel. Although I was a little hesitant, I still went ahead with surgery and I'm so happy that I did. The procedure was painless, only some discomfort. Today, Tuesday I see perfectly fine, a part of me still thinks I'm wearing my contacts. It's too good to be true. It's so amazing how a procedure that took less than 10 minutes can change your life forever.

I had heard such great reports about Dr. Caster and his team, that I was not really nervous when I had made the decision to have Lasik. Nevertheless his whole team really worked together to make me feel calm and reassured throughout the entire process.
Drs. Caster and Hoff both explained the procedure, and testing in great detail, and were never tired of answering my questions. All the other staff- receptionist, and technicians were also patient and caring which made such a difference. To wake up after a brief few hours of sleep and to be able to see perfectly without glasses was truly exhilarating. Many acquaintances of mine said that they found the concept of laser eye surgery very frightening. I told them that I wasn't very frightened before the surgery and can now say that I wasn't fearful during or after the surgery! All the people who I encountered who work here are very professional and caring, so any misgivings I felt vanished. Dr. Caster's devotion to this one procedure, along with his extensive staff support, gave me a "good hands feeling" from day 1!! Having my vision improved so naturally (no glasses or contacts needed) is very freeing.
