Every morning for as long as I can remember, I would wake and look out my window at a blur of green - they were trees actually, - but to me it was just s green blur. This morning, I opened my eyes and could see every leaf, every branch, every distinction of the different trees. It really feels as if Dr. Caster has performed a miracle. After wearing glasses since I was in third grade and always having to be self conscious I feel like I've been given the best gift anybody can give themself. It was absolutely painless and not uncomfortable. What amazed me the most was that I woke up the morning after and everything was clear, I didn't have to fumble around trying to find my other eyes (my glasses). I've always wanted to be able to swim and not have to be fearful of not getting our of the water just to find my glasses missing.

When going home after the procedure, I was able to see clear across the room (with the vision a little out of focus). But, it felt like I still had my contact lenses in. (I slept most of the day.) When I woke up the next morning, I could see everything along the way, when I got to the doctor's office, I learned that my vision was 20/20 (20/20 in my right eye and 20/30 in my left). It is truly amazing and just by looking into my eyes, you would never know I just underwent laser surgery.

The procedure was not threating and I only felt a tolerable amount of pressure on my eyeball while the lens was being "hinged".
My eyes were comfortable after the procedure, and although I wore the dark glasses as suggested, when I took them off to adminster the eye drops, I felt no discomfort from the light.
There was no need for a pain pill, (and really no need for me to have been in the house!) When I removed the clear plastic eye protectors this morning, the day after the surgery, I could see clearly and I read the morning newspaper before coming in for my "day-after" check-up.
Everything went perfectly, and I see great. I'm thrilled to be rid of the glasses and contacts! Free at last! Thanks from a happy camper.

"Amazing" is the only word I can use to describe the outcome of my Lasik Eye Surgery that Dr. Caster performed.

After forty years of wearing contacts and glasses. I sat up in the chair immediately after the procedure and not only saw the clock but I could tell the time: 10:05. This procedure is absolutely amazing. The doctor and the staff were very supportive and answered all my questions – and some I hadn't ever thought about. I elected to have monovision. It has been less than 24 hours, and if this is as good as it gets I'm extremely happy, however, the vision should get sharper as my eyes adjust to the monovision. No more glasses! White river rafting and water skiing here I come. Many thanks to all involved!

I have been wearing glasses and/or contact lenses since I was eight years old. I don't even remember being able to see clearly without them. It is unbelievable that I don't have to reach for a pair of glasses in the morning when I wake up or take off my contacts before I go to sleep.
Everyone at the Caster Eye Center was very helpful. They answered all my questions and erased any doubts I had about Lasik. Dr. Caster talked me through the entire procedure which was totally painless. Dr. Caster told me he was the best and I believe him. I would recommend the Caster Eye Center to all my friends who might benefit from the Lasik procedure.

Seeing again is like being "born again." Everything is new, bright and clear. I am starting to realize how I and most people take sight for granted.
As a secondary symptom, I no longer suffer from attacks of sneezing in the morning! My allergies have improved by about 95%. I contribute this to the fact that I no longer have irritated eyes that need constant attention.
I would also like to complement the staff...everyone was kind, courteous, helpful and enthusiastic. This was a nice experience, since one, no longer runs into such pleasant situations in today's world; especially in my field!

I have worn glasses since the 8th grade, and always felt they were a burden. I couldn't wear hard contacts, when they came out with soft lenses I was able to tolerate them. Being very active in water sports I have to be careful not to loose lenses in the water. Also in my work there is a lot of dust, so my lenses are always dirty. After learning about Dr. Caster from my doctor and one of his patients I felt it was something for me to try. The day of the procedure I was nervous, but it was over quickly, with minimum pain. The next day my vision was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see without glasses or contacts.
